Intellectual inconsistancies in the abortion debate

It's fascinating to me that Jack Stoller, a liberal blogger and unabashed "abortion-rights extremist", and my friend and debate partner Elle, a conservative pro-life Lutheran, use the same argument about the inconsistancies of logic when people allow abortion in some circumstances but not others... yet this recognition leads these two smart people to opposite conclusions.
