Pat Roberts: "I think the time has come...to take [President Hugo Chavez] out."
Don't mess with those fetuses, hey! But assasination? Well that's sure okely-dokely with God, isn't it, Pat?
Must... fight... rising... bile...
On Monday, Robertson said on the Christian Broadcast Network's 'The 700 Club': 'We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability.'
'We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator,' he continued. 'It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with.'
Must... fight... rising... bile...

Let me get this straight... going to Disney World? Bad! Threatening assassination? A good, "Christian" thing to do!
The Christian Right is neither "Christian" nor "Right". Discuss.

I died laughing. Images of Kirk popped into my mind. Your short comment on this was great, to the point and said so much. I commented what amounted to a rant, but you did an excellent job in a few words. Pat exhibiting Christian behavior with his rant? Not on your life.

Maybe the Right wing so called "Christians" should do their homework. Why
would a so called Christian of the right wing have such an desire as to gut
the threatened and endangered species act. Genesis 7:3 Of fowls also of the
air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of
all the earth. See, those people don't really live by the WORD, i.e., the right winger.
In fact Genesis 2:15 States “And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it”. And then when things got real bad GOD selected someone to be a Steward and tend to Threatened and Endangered Species. That was Noah’s job. Again I repeat – why are such high rollers, as the Right Wing Christians, in the US GOVERNMENT, so against tending to present day Threatened and Endangered species (A true, well known, concern of GOD.)?
2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
I mean, is this not the language of the right wing? Is this not the same book they are supposed to live by? I guess I'm just not a Christian now am I?
Sincerely,
John A. Keslick, Jr.
