Dakota Snoblade
Here's an interesting concept for snow removal. I'd seen "plow" style shovels at Wal-Mart, and was calling around to see if the stores in Valley had something similar - one of the hardware fellows mentioned this gizmo, but didn't have any in stock. Looks like the Wal-Mart cheap-o version done right. I especially like the very wide blade, and the wheels look convenient. Also, it's a local product, from Linton, ND. Too bad it costs $70-80... that's a little out of my budget, although it's still far more reasonable than a snowblower. Watch the video, and you'll see why I'm impressed with the Dakota Snoblade.

I just bought a snoblade as well but the assemble part seems flimsy to me. The handle bars attached to the plastic frame are held in by hairpin clips!?!? This seems like flimsy construction to me.. don't you think?
Or is mine a defective product... let me know if yours is flimsy too. Thanks.

I am a distributor for the Dakota SnoBlade. It is made from high impact resin and can take a lot of punishment. I have used my own SnoBlade for 3 years now and never had any type of problem with it what so ever. Use it and you will find out.
The only SnoBlade I have seen damaged was one that was accidently run over by a dump truck and that just cracked the corner.
The cotter pins allow the snow blade to rotate so you can flip and change the direction of the blade easily.
It has worked perfectly every single time and every customer I have sold them to loves it.
