Festival of Homiletics
I'm in Minneapolis this week for the annual Festival of Homiletics. It's a conference for preachers, a time for us to think together about the craft of preaching and to hear from many of the leading voices in our field. This morning, Walter Brueggemann and Jim Wallis. Good stuff.
I'm prompted to write by a funny coincidence - I was recognized just now. One of my colleagues, noticing my name tag, walked up to me and mentioned he reads this blog. Didn't see that coming!
So hello to Mark K., when you get home from the conference and eventually discover I've posted something new. :)
(And my family and friends are thinking, "It's about time!)
Wallis is on in five... Time to hustle.
