I think I may be that “very knowledgeable” friend that Bob referenced. Yes, Bob would be a great Mac person, but he’s stubborn that way. I’m working on it…
Anyway, I can’t replicate your issue here. My work computer is running Leopard. My home computer has Lion, but not MS Office.
But I could maybe suggest that you try the TrueType version (Augsburg Fortress refers to it as the “Windows” version, but TT fonts are cross-platform) instead of the PostScript version. Not that there is any good reason that the PS version shouldn’t work… just something else to try, that’s all. Just download the .zip file, double-click on the LBWSP___.TTF file and click the “Install Font” button. You may need to quit and relaunch Word to get it to show up.

Hi, Bruce… I’ve done some work on Macs, but I don’t own one myself – so I don’t have a way to check this out directly. I’ve asked a friend who’s very knowledgeable about Macs, and will let you know if I find out anything.

Nathan – sorry you’re having trouble with the list. I’ve made a few adjustments to the file. Would you mind downloading v.1.1 and see if that helps? If it still isn’t working for you, please email me a copy of the file you’re working from, and I’ll see what I can do to make it work for you. Thanks for giving my prayer list a try!

He Bob. Thanks the wonderful tool on keeping tack of prayer requests. I was unable to download a clean spreadsheet for use. So I downloaded the examples you have and deleted the names. But the new, current and expiring dates do now work. It reports the following #value. could you help.

Hi Bob,

I’m hoping with all the things you say about your self that you are also a Mac user. If so maybe you can help me with a LBW font issue I’m having. I just upgraded my computer so I could get my iPhone to Sync with something younger than my 10 yr old iMac then upgraded my OS to LION OS 10.7.1

I downloaded the LBW fonts from AF Web site and they show up in my Font Book but not in my MS for Mac doc Any ideas.

I do admire the artistry of the photographers who take these “ruin porn” photographs. The lighting and framing of quite a few of them are exquisite, and just getting your gear to some of these locations (and not getting arrested or injured) is an accomplishment in itself.

Wow. Looking through those photos, it is so sad, and yet so beautiful in an odd sort of way. Reminds me of a scene out of a zombie apocalypse movie.
