Web Sites

I began designing web pages when I was a student at Concordia College. My first effort was a simple homepage on Geocities. Before too long, I was designing pages and sites for several departments at Concordia, and even drawing a paycheck for my efforts.

I launched into the world of freelance web design during my first year of seminary, under the name “SiteStyles.” I registered my own domain for the first time, and produced a few sites before closing shop. (Being a student was more important than web design.)

I continued to putter around with web design through seminary, and in the spring of 2002, BobSchaefer.com was begun. This is now the third iteration of this site (the fourth, if you count the “filler” site that was online from Spring - Fall 2002). You can look over the various changes I’ve made by visiting the Internet “Wayback Machine’s” archive of my site.

In addition to my own site, I also have worked on several sites on a volunteer basis. The links at left will give you an overview of the various sites I’ve designed, along with links to the live or archived sites, as applicable.

I’m no longer doing web design for hire - the time commitment is to great now that I’m a full-time pastor.
